Since 1988 Dean Watt has successfully run his own thoroughbred consultancy DEAN WATT BLOODSTOCK.
Dean's company DEAN WATT BLOODSTOCK is a long standing member of the FEDERATION OF BLOODSTOCK AGENT'S - AUSTRALIA LTD.
Dean holds a Diploma in Horse Husbandry and Management from McMillan College - (Affiliated Melbourne University), An Australian Stock Exchange Diploma and a Diploma in Treasury Dealing from TDC - (Affiliated Macquarie University)
In 1994 DEAN WATT BLOODSTOCK was the first company ever to be granted a private contract to supply 87 horses in one single order delivered by cargo plane to South Korea
In 1996, as a personal challenge whilst continuing his bloodstock consultancy work, Dean became a Licenced Racehorse Trainer in NSW (SERA), training several winners over a short period before ceasing, to concentrate on his racing administration career.
Dean's skills and eye for bloodstock resulted in him becoming a Judge - Thoroughbred Section - Brisbane Royal Show
Over the past 4 years, Dean has consulted exclusively to the Graeme Rogerson Stables with great success. In 2005, however other highly skilled trainers will become part of the successful operation.
Dean held his first ASIC licence in 1982 and became a licenced syndicator in 1995.
Currently, Dean is the Director and Responsible Officer for MINNAMURRA RACING SERVICES P/L trading as DYNAMIC SYNDICATIONS.
This company is owned jointly by Dean Watt & Minnamurra Holdings P/L and is a holder of an ASIC Australian Financial Services Licence: 286961.
