DYNAMIC SYNDICATIONS MARCH 08 NEWSLETTER
Welcome to the March 08 edition of the Dynamic Syndications Newsletter. It has been a huge month and the times ahead only promise to be busier and more hectic, which is just the way we like it. Between sorting out the paths of our currently increasing team of runners to securing the Magic Millions sale topping lot, everyone in the Dynamic team is running around like a chook with its head cut off.
DYNAMIC RUNNERS
Below is a list of runners that we have going around at the minute or are about to resume in the coming weeks.
Honor in War
Honor in War parading before the Villiers Stakes
In a cracking return to the track, Honor in War put the writing on the wall for the Group 1 Chipping Norton with a slashing run in the Group 2 Apollo Stakes at Rosehill. In the Apollo Stakes, he jumped from near the outside fence. Honor in War jumped well but the wide barrier then negated that when we found ourselves 3 wide, but with cover. Into the straight, Honor in War fanned wide and started the run home. He had a chequered run down the straight with the jockey, Jim Cassidy, having to steer, rather than ride him out to the line. He finished on the heels of the placegetters after having no luck whatsoever. Darren Beadman was booked for the ride in the Group 1 Chipping Norton at Rosehill this year due to works at Warwick Farm. After the weekend the best thing to do is just forget that run. Honor in War was just starting to come into the race very strongly when severe interference cost him his chance at Group 1 glory. Despite nearly crashing, Honor in War just has a few small cuts and bumps. Darren Beadman did an amazing job to stay in the saddle. One day, this horse will have luck in a group 1, just make sure that you are on board.
Tenant's Tiara
Tenant's Tiara winning the Fireball Quality at Rosehill
What an amazing filly. Brought for only $20K and offered at $5,600 for a 10% share, this filly has been carefully handled throughout her career and her patient owners are now reaping the rewards. Expertly handled by Kevin Moses and his team, Tenant's Tiara debuted at a midweek Canterbury meeting. Jumping from the outside, she raced on the speed, sitting outside the leader and odds on pop, Behind. Jockey, Tim Clark guided her around corner and upon straightening, he released the brakes and she jetted away for a stunning 3 length win. What to do with her now? Dynamic and Kevin Moses have identified the Group 2 Sapphire Stakes as her grand final and to work back from there we needed a race program. There is a race for her on the 12th of April but where to between her win and then. The Fireball Quality at Rosehill on March 15th was identified as ideal for distance, but not class. It was a huge class rise. Up against horses the class of Xaardante, Cravings and Rapid Jacko, we had a game plan to stalk the expected very quick speed and jockey, Tim Clark, executed it to perfection. At the top of the straight, it looked as if though she had lost her position in the field, but that was not the case. It was Tim biding his time, until he clicked the button and whooshka, she flew home to run the quickest last 200m of the day to nab Xaardante on the line and claim the prize. As well as first place prize money, connections secured a $25k BOBS bonus. She will race in the Eskimo Prince this weekend and is sure to run very well again.
Pillar of Hercules
Pillar of Hercules
Not having had a start for a month, and jumping from an outside barrier, it was decided to ride Pillar of Hercules from the back of the field in the Group 1, Cadbury Australian Guineas. He settled very well in the run and when asked for an effort started to close in on the leading division very quickly. His condition just fell away over the last 200m and he was beaten only 4.5 lengths. Analysing the sectional times, he ran the same last 600m as the spruik horse and winner, Light Fantastic. Now that he has had another run under his belt, he will be up on the pace in his runs and they will have to come from behind him to beat him while he is running home solid sectionals. He has in front of him, the Randwick and Rosehill Guineas in the next month and we expect him to be right there in the finish, especially the Rosehill Guineas over 2000m.
Noble Edict
Noble Edict winning at Canterbury Park
Resuming off a long EI induced spell, Noble Edict ran a very credible 3rd first up, despite missing work and a couple of planned trials. Second up we went off to Canterbury, up in grade and with Mitch Beadman on board to use his 3 kilo claim. Jumping well, the field went very quickly and he found himself 2 lengths last. Just before the turn, Mitch set him alight and he went off around the turn. It took the length of the straight, and with the jockey losing his whip, to round in the field, but he found himself in front where it mattered most, on the line. Stepping him up again in class, at Rosehill, Blake Shinn rode him. He missed the kick by two lengths and that was the end of the show. He ran okay in the circumstances and it was with bated breath that we waited for the final field of what was his original grand final, the Magic Millions $1 Million 3yo race over 1400, As we found ourselves 28th on the order of entry due to prize money. Noble unfortunately was not able to make it to the Gold Coast due to a hoof issue, but was able to take his place at Royal Randwick in the first of the day, to be ridden by returning champion jockey, Darren Beadman. He jumped well but showed that the two tough runs that he had at the start of his campaign had taken effect and while he did not run badly, he showed that it was time for a freshenup. He is out for 3 weeks and will come back at the back end of the Autumn to reap the riches of the city class racing.
Priceless Lad
Priceless Lad after an earlier win at Kembla Grange
This horse is honest as the day is long. He just does not know how to run a bad race. He has now had 10 starts for 3 wins, 2 seconds, 3 thirds and 2 fourths for nearly $100k in prize money. He resumed at Hawkesbury and by using the claim of Mitch Beadman, we were able to get him in well at the weights. Jumping cleanly from an outside barrier, Mitch was able to get Pricelss Lad across to the fence in a midfield position. Stalking up on the leaders on the fence, into the straight, Mitch went for an inside run and when that disappeared, he kept his cool and switched across heels and with a crack of the whip, the race was over as Priceless Lad cruised to the line. Next start found us mid week at Randwick on the Kenso. We drew wide again and 50m after the start, the jockey, Mitch Beadman made the correct decision to ease out of the speed battle and take a sit, one off the fence, just worse than midfield. Tracking into the straight, Priceless Lad hit the front 50m out, but was just swamped near the line to lose by a half neck to a horse that we were giving a couple of kilos too. Next he was off to Canterbury Park and the boy did not let us down. Missing the kick slightly, Mitchell Beadman, who has a real affinity with the horse, elected to take him across to be one off the fence in about 6th position. Approaching the turn he he trailled into the race 3 wide and upon straightening, took off after the leaders. He got to the front with about 20 meters to go and won by a half head. Honestly, you would want every horse in your stable to put in the same efforts that this boy does, every time he enters the track. He will continue to progress through his ratings bands and will keep picking up cheques as he goes along.
Sightforsoreeyes
Sightforsoreeyes clearing out at Muswellbrook
What a thrill for the patient owners to see this boy salute at Musswellbrook at his second start back from a spell. Stalking the pace, he came clear with 150m to go to hold off the fast finishing Morning High . Next start he stepped up to 1400m at Taree and had to be ridden back from a wide barrier. He made up nice ground in the straight. We have him accepted in a race over 1550m at Cessnock this Friday, with in form apprentice, Mitchell Beadman aboard. He is sure to give you a show for your money.
Air Raid
Air Raid stretching to the post as a winner
The way to ride this boy is cold after he raced at Canterbury mid week up on the pace. Taking advantage of the barrier, he raced on the pace but wilted in the run to the line. Next start at Kembla Grange, he was ridden from the back of the pack and made up many lengths in the straight to finish third, only a length from the leader. He has a 2nd in a $100k race and a closing fourth to Mutawaajid on his resume, so now that we are getting closer to peak fitness he will be bringing home the chocolates shortly.
Royal Singer
Royal Singer sprints through the middle to win up the Cheltenham straight
After her torturous run in the listed Werribee Cup, Royal Singer resumed from a spell in the last race on Adelaide Cup day. Knowing that she would need the run, she was looked after in the run on the hard track, on a day when the temperature shot through the 100 in the old mark. The stable are very happy with the way that she has come up this preparation and when she gets to 1600m+, this mare will be very competitive in any race she contests. All going well, we will look for to get some much deserved black type into her career.
Regal Instinct
Regal Instinct
Regal Instinct resumed from an EI enforced spell to race at Wyong. He had trialled very nicely at Randwick before resuming and Hugh Bowman, who had the ride in the trial, asked for the ride in the race. In need of the run and drawn in barrier 9, Regal Instinct went back from the start. Hugh started to stoke him up before the turn. In the straight he made up some lovely ground and as we get up in distance, this boy will be a definite black booker.
Unistudent
Unistudent
She raced at Nowra on Easter Sunday with the view that a trip to the races would be more beneficial to her development rather than a trial. Jumping away very well, but racing very new, she will take great benefit out of the run and we are looking forward to getting her to the races again in the next few weeks.
Viscount Express
Viscount Express
We finally got him back to the track after a year and a half away, having him resume at Scone for new trainer, Darren Smith. In an outstanding performance by a horse that had been off the track for that length of time, Viscount Express missed the start slightly before mustering pace to sit about 6th in the run, on the fence. Upon straightening, he did not have the clearest of runs and when he finally got clear about 50m out from the post, charged at the line to be beaten by the barest margin, a nose. It was great to see him come back in such outstanding fashion and is a must for your black book over the coming weeks.
Causeyacan
Causeyacan at pretrainer's, Gary Nickson
Causeyacan was due to resume on Easter Saturday at Kembla Grange but had a slight accident in the stable. If it had of happened a day before, he still would have run. He is training very well and when he is produced in the next week or so, will be something for your black book.
Ones to watch out for in the next week that have trialled or may do so in the very near future are Tiger Prawn, Eight Bees and Related Secrets.
SALES UPDATE
The Melbourne Inglis Premier Sale saw us purchase the ? brother to our Tiger Prawn. By Kempinsky out of Flight to Fantasy, he is all ready syndicated and will be trained out of Caulfield by Peter Moody. We were also successful in buying a magnificent Exceed and Excel colt out of the Rory's Jester mare, Miss Prospect. He is sold as well and Peter Moody will also train this colt, which is sure to be a speed machine. In a joint effort of Dynamic Syndications and the Hawkes Family Stables we were able to secure a stunning filly by the former champion racehorse, Elvstroem. Bred to be very quick as a 2yo, there is still 50% left of this filly. Please look at the Available Shares section of this newsletter.
As reported in the national press, Dynamic Syndications proudly secured lot 246, the colt by Redoute's Choice out of the super producer, Savannah Success, for a cool $1 Million dollars. This makes him the half brother to sire sensation and Cox Plate winner, Savabeel, which of course was syndicated by Dynamic Syndications and a half brother to the up and comer, Arlington. He is from one of the most productive families in the Stud Book and is by the all conquering Redoute's Choice. This boy has everything. It has all ready been decided that John Hawkes will train the colt, and yes, he is all ready sold down. Congratulations to owners, Gerry Harvey, Bill Vlahos, Dean Shannon, Dennis O' Brien, Michael St. Angelo, Bill Benson and Karl Arnold.
A cool million dollars - Redoute's Choice / Savannah Success
In the first session we were able to secure a big strong, athletic colt by Secret Savings out of the mare Minus Zero. He is a ? brother to the up and coming stakes performer, Cent per Cent.
Secret Savings - Minus Zero colt
The third session saw us early on secure a powerful colt by the ultra consistent sire, Mossman. The colt is out of the Night Shift mare, Time for Bed, who has so far produced 3 multiple winners from only 4 foals. He is bred to run in next years Magic Millions 2yo.
Mossman / Time for Bed colt
Not all that much further in to the session we managed another magnificent colt by the super sire, Redoute's Choice. Out of the mare, Touched by God, herself stakes placed as a 2yo, this colt goes back to the mighty Eight Carat family, which is a dominant force in the Australasian Stud Book. This of course is the family of Octagonal, Kaapstad, Lonhro and Diamon Lover. He will be trained by Chris Waller from his Rosehill stable and like the other Redoute's Choice colt that we brought on Tuesday, he has been sold down.
Redute's Choice / Touched by God colt
At Lot 531, we were able to secure a colt by Rock of Gibraltar from Best Effort, a Luskin Star mare. He is bred to be extraordinarily quick being by the 'Rock' from a family that contains Golden Slipper winners, Burst and Victory Prince. Speed, speed, speed!!
Rock of Gibraltar / Best Effort colt
Later on the third day we were able to snare yet another, and I have nearly gotten sick of writing it, powerfully built colt, lot 564. He is by the Group 1 winning, 3/4 brother to Redoute's Choice, Al Maher. Al Maher of course won the Cadbury Australian Guineas. This colts mother, Bryce Canyon traces champion race horses and sires, Seattle Slew and Lomond.
Al Maher / Bryce Canyon colt
We still have a week left at the Magic Millions sale. Plenty of time to snare many a bargain. Log on to the website each day to check on the Dynamic activities. And of course we will be at the Inglis sale here in Sydney in the week leading up to the AJC Derby and Doncaster.
If you would like any information on any of the lots that we have so far snared, or will in the ensuing week, please let me know and I can let you have all of the information as soon as possible.

DYNAMIC TRAINERS NEWS
The Dynamic trainers have been on fire of late.
Mick Price has unearthed a potential champion in Light Fantastic. What a horse to be able to graduate from a maiden at Kyneton to Group 1 glory against seasoned 3yo's in a little under two months.
Chris Waller has now left the run of seconds well in the past with his stable firing, producing winners left, right and centre. He recently had a city treble and then last Saturday produced Light Red and Danleigh for convincing victories. Danleigh finds himself on a Doncaster path.
David Hayes and 2 year olds. Just back them. A magnificent effort by the stable to win their third Blue Diamond in a row. They also have Niconero, winner of the Group 1 Futurity Stakes, which will be representing Australia on the world stage at the rich Dubai Racing World Cup.
John Hawkes continues his climb back up the trainers tree by going to the sales and securing the cream of the crop at the sales. He will train the Dynamic Syndications purchased, Redoute's Choice / Savannah Success colt, the half brother to Savabeel and Arlington.
Peter Moody continues to rack up the winners including the recent win of Eclair Passion. Eclair Passion is of course the half brother to two recently syndicated Dynamic horses. He is a half to Tiger Prawn which won his first two starts and will be aimed towards the Brisbance Winter Carnival and the recently syndicated, Kempinsky / Flight to Fantasy colt. Peter trains all three of the brothers.
The Kevin Moses stable is having a great run at the minute. Recent successes include the double wins of Tenant's Tiara. He won the Gosford Cup with Bundoran Breeze, which was ridden by his son Shane. Also on Magic Millions day, he won the $100K maiden for connections, atoning for the second place of last year in the same race of the Dynamic Syndications horse, Air Raid.
DYNAMIC BREEDING PACKAGE
At last we have got some photo's to show you of the colts and fillies that are enjoying their time up at Raheen Stud before being sold at the Magic Millions National Weanling Sale in June. Below are some of our favourites. What am I saying, they are all our favourites, I just need to save a few pics for next months newsletter.

DYNAMIC BREEDING NEWS
Eclair Passion
Eclair Passion, the half brother to our Tiger Prawn and Kempinsky / Flight to Fantasy colt, resumed on Easter Monday. With the jockey, Jason Benbow allowing him to find his feet earlier, he gradually made his way through the field approaching the turn. At the top of the straight, he pounced and strode away for an easy win untouched. Stick with him.
Russeting
Russeting, by Commands out of Granny Apple, is a half to our Appleholic. It is building an imposing record on the Queensland racing circuit, having now had 8 career starts for 5 wins and 1 third. He has graduated from Toowomba and Ipswich to midweek city class in Brisbane. Our Appleholic is in the paddock having a well earned rest after a couple of very encouraging runs last prep.
Lasker
By Galileo out of Misty Dawn, Lasker is a half to Dynamic Syndications, Steamy, which is by Fusaichi Pegasus. After a couple of warm up runs, Lasker is starting to show his mettle at 1600m+ with a win and a fourth in midweek company here in Sydney. Dynamic's Steamy is currently into her third and last week of pre training with Gary Nickson at Warwick Farm, where she is progressing very well, and will head to the Randwick stables of form trainer, Kevin Moses, next week.
AVAILABLE SHARES
We currently have available 50% left of the striking Elvstroem / Pallid filly to be trained out of the Flemington base of the Hawkes Family Racing Stables.
At the Melbourne Inglis Premier sale, Dynamic Syndications had 64 lots selected pre sale based on our detailed pedigree analysis. Our next step was the conformation examination, and in conducting this in conjunction with John Hawkes, John Hawkes asked to train this filly.
Elvstroem / Pallid filly
He was rightly impressed with what was presented before him.
Elvstroem / Pallid filly
This filly has an outstanding pedigree rating of A+, 917%, Q7. She is bred on the astonishing Danehill over Marauding cross. This cross has so far produced 12 named foals for 10 runners. Amazingly, from the 10 runners, there have been 6 stakes winners including dual Group 1 winning 2yo, Juanmo.
Dad, Elvstroem, of course could be considered the best ever racing son of the super sire, Danehill. He won his first race as a 2 year old and backed that up to convincingly win the VRC Derby, only 5 months later. He later represented Australia with distinction winning the Group 1 Nad Al Sheba Dubai Duty Free after winning the Caulfield Cup the September before. What a horse!
Mum, Pallid, was a very good 2 year old. Being by the very good Golden Slipper winner, Marauding. Pallid had 7 starts as a 2yo. In those 7 starts she won 2 city races and was stakes placed.
In her pedigree, this girl has 2 year old speed, 3 year old power and 4 year old performance. Perfect.
This filly is entered for, and will be given every opportunity, to prove herself at the richest, highest level of next season's 2 year old racing. That was the main reason why we brought her. She is also SuperVobis qualified and will be eligible for bonuses of up to $25,000 for winning races.
I am available at any time to give you a call about this filly. Let me know when it is convenient for you to have a chat and I will pick up the phone.
