DYNAMIC SYNDICATIONS MONTHLY NEWSLETTER
Welcome to the May edition of the Dynamic Syndications Newsletter. We have left the carnival behind and the next few months promise to be even busier as more of our horses continue to make it to the track after the cautious approach taken through the EI period. Read below about all things Dynamic and if two year old racing is what gets the blood running, have a look at the exciting news that we have just received about the Mossman x Time for Bed colt that we are syndicating.
Dynamic Performances and future runners
Atomic Force

What a month of May for this colt! His first start found us at Hawkesbury for the stand alone meeting. With all the pre race talk centred round the Snowden trained Fravashi, post race, people soon realised that there was another very promising 2yo on the scene. Trained by Chris Waller and jumping from gate 1, Atomic Force sped to the lead and then was taken on,first by an outsider and then, the second favourite. Rounding the turn, Tim Clark released the brakes and he extended but had been softened up for Fravashi who was made to work right to the line to just pip Atomic Force by ? of a length. Both horse broke the class record for the trip at Hawkesbury. A great run and a sign of things to come. Connections then decided to go to the midweek Rosehill meeting and jumping from the outside barrier, Atomic Force made easy work of the field, running home to win by 2 lengths, bettering the class record by .6 second which was previously held by Reigning to Win. A short break and then a crack at the San Domenico could be on the cards for this colt.
Tenant's Tiara
The filly of the autumn, Tenant's Tiara, faced the starter for her only her fourth career start in the fillies and mares, Group 2 Sapphire Stakes. In the field was the horse that had lowered Miss Andretti's colours at her previous start, Juste Momente. Jumping well, Tenant's Tiara took the sit outside of the leading, consistent mare, Belong to Many. Enjoying a lovely run, it was whips cracking over the famous Randwick rise and Tenant's Tiara was closest to the winner, Belong to Many, on the line, but today, for the first time, it was in second place. Connections were left a little stunned as they had never tasted defeat but also they knew that we had a Group 2 placing on her pedigree page. All in all it was a great day. On the stand alone day at Hawkesbury, she lined up in the Listed Hawkesbury Guineas and just found the 1400m too far at the end of her first campaign. We have many option open to us in the spring over 1200m and she will be one to follow.
Causeyacan
Causeyacan demolishing the field at Newcastle.
After making a winning debut, what seemed an eternity ago, connections have been rewarded with their patience with the current form that Causeyacan is showing one and all. Resuming after a year and a half, Causeyacan ran a game second at Kembla Grange and backed this up with a super effort at Newcastle. Sitting just off the pace, Causeyacan showed all of the ability that we know he has when he demolished the field by 3 lengths. Next, back to town where he started favourite over 1500m. Jumping perfectly and sitting in the perfect spot, in a couple of lightning moves, jockey Tim Clarke was shuffled back through the field into what looked a hopeless position. Upon straightening, horse and jockey had to wait for a split and when the smallest gap showed, they charged through and ran at the line. Just as it looked like he had the field beat, Bryce's Luck with the easier run looked to have run past Causeyacan, before just on the line, Causeyacan flattened out and the judge had to go to for the photo. Result? A dead heat. Causeyacan will now head to Saturday class racing and will give you a sight in anything that he competes.
Regal Instinct
Regal Instinct winning at Kembla Grange
This son of King Charlemagne is so consistent and has his foot right on the till. After winning recently at Kembla Grange in an extremely tough effort where he was three and four wide the trip, he has seen his last two runs devoid of any sort of luck. At both Newcastle and Rosehill, he has found himself behind a wall of horses with something in the tank left to give. He lines up today in the 1900m at Canterbury and with any sort of luck will be right in the finish.
Eight Bees
The old proverb, Patience is a virtue is very apt to this horse and his connections. Transferred to the stables of Barbara Joseph, he has responded emphatically to a bit of TLC. Resuming at Albury on their cup day, he put the writing on the wall with a fantastic, and a bit unlucky, third. So much so, that Peter Robl asked for the ride wherever he ran next. Wanting another 1400m race, the racing calendar was not kind to us and we had to go around in a 1600m race. Going to the lead, the horse was run down in the proverbial last stride. Two Sundays ago saw us at Queanbeyan in a winnable race, but with the very outside barrier in the worst starting point for a wide barrier. Jockey Peter Robl had once again made a special trip to ride the horse and was duly rewarded for a daring ride and the consistent form that the horse had been showing. The horse is just about cherry ripe to head into town and have a crack at the winter staying races that abound this time of year. He also has a special place in the office as he brought up our 50th winner.
Royal Singer
Royal Singer hits the front
The Barabra Joseph TLC factor has again been used to bring our promising middle distance mare, Royal Singer, back to form. Luck has deserted her in her two starts since the transfer with a first up unlucky 3rd and then in Sundays Nowra Cup, caught wide and back for the whole journey, she made up great ground in the straight to just miss out on fourth. City grade fillies and mares races are right up this girls alley in the coming month.
Twin Trist
Twin Trist winning at Ballarat
First of all she doesn't like wet tracks. Secondly, with a smidgin of luck, she wins at Adelaide last weekend after there was much more pace than what was expected from the speed maps which meant she was not able to have the run that we expected. On a dry track, she is a consistent filly that will always give you a sight so black book her for anywhere she runs and the track is dry.
Noble Edict
Noble winning second up at Canterbury last campaign.
One of the headline horses of the recent AJC meeting with Mitch Beadman being beaten in subsequent races in a photo finish, Noble Edict resumed a fresh and healthy looking horse. Ridden to instructions of letting the horse get back and find his feet before charging from the turn, the horse was desperately unlucky as he had to shift across the heels of basically the whole field before finding space. And when he did, he flew but left the connections muttering, Bugger, after being beaten a short head. We know that this horse has better than average ability from what he has shown and is one to follow through his entire campaign.
Superior Instinct
Superior Instinct winning his maiden at Canterbury
This promising son of Delago Brom and half brother to our Regal Instinct, delivered on his promise in a mid week maiden at Canterbury recently. Allowed to find his feet by jockey Tim Clark, he scouted wide around the corner, and extended to the line to grab his maiden win. This was his first time in blinkers and looked like he would derive improvement with experience in them and also the run. A definite for your black book over the winter months has he does have a 2 length 2nd to El Cambio on a heavy track, this time last year.
Air Raid
This son of Catbird is another very consistent horse that has his hoof right on the till. With a couple of fitness runs under his belt, where, especially in his last run, he came home very nicely for a close fourth, it was decided to get the horse up to 1400m in a ratings 75 race at Hawkesbury where he would get some weight relief from his last few runs. Sitting on a fast pace, he kept his position in the field to finish fifth.
Elusive Reserve
In an encouraging performance for the future, Elusive Reserve ran midfield on debut at Nowra. His wide barrier cost him any chance as he was caught three and four wide in a speed dual up front. The jockey then took hold of him and pulled him back into line. Race day greenness cost him as he spat the bit but he fought to the line. With natural improvement and maybe even a set of blinkers, watch for him over 1400 to 1600m at subsequent starts.
Horses that are in training and are getting close to a jump out, trial or race start are as follows. Eight Moons, Viscount Express, Sarkosy, Acclimitise, Jellylorum, Dictatorship, Acclimitise, Cat Burglar, Intangible Asset, Handsome Stash and Saltator.

Dynamic Trainers News
Firstly, congratulations must go to Kevin and Jenny Moses for training their first ever group 1 winner when No Wine, No Song, convincingly won the Sydney Cup. Their run has continued with the likes of the Dynamic Syndications horses, Causeyacan, Superior Instinct and Noble Edict. And where was Kevin watching the Sydney Cup? Trying to get some privacy only to be confronted by the connections of Dynamics, Honor in War, who as per usual, were the last to leave the room with free beer and food!!
Kevin and Jenny with thier Group 1 Sydney Cup
Mick Price has the very promising Miss Maren, that will go around as one of the favourites in the Queensland Oaks this weekend. Being by Stravinsky, she will appreciate the distance and was flying home last start in the lead up to the race.
Thoughts go to Peter Moody and his stable, and especially the stable rider, Luke Nolan and his family, after his horrific fall in recent weeks.
Dynamic Breeding News
Calaway Gal
Calaway Gal winning the Golden Slipper
What a stunning career for the filly trained by Bruce Brown who resides at Doomben. Starting her career with a barrier trial at Deagon over 475 m, she graduated to the race track on October 20th where she won over 1000m. Stathi Katsidis had the ride for her first four starts, which where all wins, in Brisbane. A Sydney campaign with the Golden Slipper the target, which the connections had to pay a late nom fee of $110,000, beckoned. The Jockey on fire at the time, Scott Seamer took over the reins. Resuming in the Sweet Emrace, she finished third behind Victory Vein before running 2nd to the same filly in the Magic Night Stakes. Revenge was hers in the Golden Slipper when she won by a long head. Victory Vein was second that day with todays hot sires, Choisir and Planchet next. What a great season, 8 starts for 5 wins, a second and a third including the holy grail of 2yo racing, the Golden Slipper. We of course were lucky enough to secure her second foal in the Encosta De Lago x Calaway Girl colt. A stunning type with an amazing pedigree rating that I can be contacted about to express your interest in securing a share.
Quays
By the outstanding sire, Royal Academy, Quays was a picture of consistency throughout her career at the top level. Starting her career off in a midweek 2yo race in Sydney, her 2yo season culminated in her running 4th in the Group 1 TJ Smith in Queensland over 1600m, indicating to her fans what was to come when she raced over 1600m+. Her 3yo season started with a bang, winning her first 3 starts before a close 5th in the Norman Robinson to eventual VRC Derby winner, Amalfi. Her next start she took the time honoured Group 2 Wakeful stakes in tremendous fashion before placing 5th in the VRC Oaks. The tail end of her 3yo season she really showed what a consistently tough filly she could be with her campaign kicking off on February 2nd and finishing with a midfield performance on June 2nd in the Queensland Derby behind County Tyrone. In that campaign she ran Group 1 placings in the Arrowfield, The AJC Oaks and the Queensland Oaks. A marvellously consistent filly, Dynamic are proud to have secured her statuesque colt by Rock of Gibraltar that will be trained by John Hawkes. If you would like to express your interest in this colt, then please let me know.
Dynamic Shares for sale
We currently have only 25% left of our Mossman x Time for Bed colt to be trained by Chris Waller at his Rosehill stables. Inspected by both Chris and Dean Watt, he was considered a must buy on type, with a pedigree to match, with a view to next year's major two year old races.

Mossman, the sire, is one of the least heralded sires in the country. He is a top 10 performer with regards to the average earnings of his individual progeny each year, beating home such trumpeted sires as Pins and More than Ready.
Mossman on the left and his colt son on the right. Like father, like son?
Encouragingly, this colt has just finished his education process with renowned educator, Gavin Edwards of Berrima. In an impressive display, Gavin reported this colt to be very nice, big, strong, business like, reactive and a real natural. That sure is a great start for the plans that we have for the colt.
