Zabeel x Dane Shakira colt - Managed Investment Scheme.

In just on 30 working days, the exciting Zabeel x Dane Shakira colt has been fully sold. This colt was a first for Dynamic Syndications in that he was sold as 50 share, Managed Investment Scheme. This is where each owner's racing share could be transferred at the end of his racing career into a lifetime stallion share. The response to the colt has been fantastic. The colt has impressed through his training and has flourished since entering the stable. The colt is bred to run in and win the classics of the Australian Racing Calendar. He has allowed clients who could normally not be able to consider a colt by Zabeel from a Danehill mare, to come racing with Dynamic Syndications in the partnership of a blue blooded colt. We would like to thank all of his new owners,

Barb Joseph Race Day

Dynamic Syndications sponsored a race on the first day back on the Canberra course proper which is the race day that the Barb Joseph Racing Stables have made their own. Over 250 clients of Barbs, including 20 from Dynamic Syndications, were all treated to a sit down lunch, drinks and guest speaker, Miracle Mal Johnston, throughout the afternoon. In a fitting finale, Dynamic's own Vigneron saluted the judge in emphatic fashion. Thank you to Barb and her team for a wonderful day.

DYNAMIC PERFORMERS

Pillar of Hercules

Pillar of Hercules pre race.

Barriers win races. 3 bad barriers this prep, 3 sensational runs, an unlucky 4th in a group 1 on his pedigree page now. Since his resumption at Caulfield over 1100m, Pillar of Hercules has been cursed in the barrier draws. The closest to the rail that he has drawn is 12. In all three starts, Pillar has been in the top 3 final 800m sectionals. He is flying and just needs some luck. 1600m races over the rest of the Melbourne Spring Carnival are his go and remember to include him in the chances for every race that he is in.

We are all right behind his team of owners: W.& J. Vlahos, S. Moody, Monte Hacho Syndicate (Mgr. R. Brandolino), Secret Hill Thoroughbreds (Mgr. J. Doherty), J. Jenkins, S. McRae and J. Allen.

Vigneron

Vigneron winning at Canberra

There must be a touch of the diplomat or politician in Vigneron as since he was elected and transferred to Canberra, he has thrived in the environment. Barb Joseph has him looking and racing a treat and in the final race of the Barb Joseph race day, he did not let his supporters down. Jumping well and then allowing the horse to find his feet, jockey Richard Bensley rode a superb race to have Vigneron midfield and on the fence in the middle part. Approaching the home turn, Bensley got Vigneron off the fence and had him tracking four wide into the straight. Within the twinkling of an eye, the race was over as Vigneron extended away to win by a length and a half. Vigneron was at juicy odds and the Dynamic office has heard of at least one owner and the group he was with, on a bucks party mind you, that cleaned out the pub that they were drinking at.

Congratulations to all of the owners involved: Robins Solah Leggett Syndicate, M. Chiverton, P. Maher, A. Rizos, W. Vlahos, F. Welk, K. Arnold, M. Damaschino and L. Tenace.

Air Raid

Air Raid winning at Nowra

Described as an enigma, Air Raid rewarded his patient owners with a win at Nowra recently. Ridden perfectly behind the pace by Tye Angland, Air Raid was produced at the right time to set up a 2 length margin and then hold on at the post to win from a charging rival. Paul Murray and the team down at Kembla Grange are doing an excellent job with Air Raid. Air Raid is entered at Moruya this Friday and is always around the money in everything that he competes.

Congratulations to all of the owners that enjoyed the spoils of victory: S. Chipperfield, R. Richards, P. Bennett, S. Burnett, M. James, N. Laygan and P. Morris.

Grand Cause

Grand Cause winning at Rosehill

After an elongated spell, the potential group horse, Grand Cause made his long awaited return to the race track. He has always shown a lot of potential, and was Darren Beadman's ride when he broke the Sydney metropolitan wins record two seasons ago. Fitted with two trials, including a 4.8l win and an easy 2l second to recent listed winner, Jewelled Gate, Grand Cause jumped well and was then allowed to find his feet. Upon settling, he was second and third last in the run. Approaching the turn, he was confronted with a wall of horses, and jockey Glynn Schofield, who rode an excellent race, went wide and found clear galloping room. He took a little time to wind up and just as he was making good ground a horse ducked out underneath him hampering his momentum. Grand Cause picked himself up again and was doing his best work on the line, indicating that in upcoming 1400m - 1600m assignments, he will be hard to beat. It was great to have him back on the track.

Platitudes to his patient owners: Bullseye Syndicate (Mgr. D. Visser), Syndicate Causyacan (Mgr. P. West), F. Welk, G. Brown, P. Duggan, N. Gibbons, M. Malone, M. McWhinney, H.&W. Stolzenbach and  Dynamic 1 Racing Syndicate.

Plan of Attack

Plan of Attack winning her maiden

After a frustrating run of seconds, Plan of Attack broke through for her much deserved maiden win. Jumping well and sitting just off the speed, Plan of Attack was produced at the right time by jockey Grant Buckley that would allow her to run to the line unimpeded. Hitting the lead 300m out, she was never headed, and didn't look like being headed to win by ? of a length. With this maiden win under her belt, Plan of Attack next lined up in the ratings 75 over 1550m for fillies and mares at Canterbury. With a plan of trying to lead, stack them up and then sprint from the 600m, the combination of a slow track, a pesky outsider and just finding the 1550m 50m too far, Plan of Attack was gallant in coming fourth. Ridden well by Glen Boss, it was the effort of a potential city class horse, especially as the horse that was a pest to her on her outside finished many lengths back, coming in near last. Plan of Attack had an excellent campaign of 5 starts, 1 win, 3 seconds and a city fourth and we are looking forward to her racing next prep between 1200m and 1500m.

Her excellent team of winners can't wait to get her back to the track: Bish Racing Syndicate (Mgr. A. Bish), S. Mcrae, W. Vlahos, J. Campbell, M. Davidson, S. Frare, D. Jones, P. Lakeman and J. Vella.

Alotta Lute

Alotta Lute parading at Randwick

The big horse resumed at Newcastle in a rating 65 handicap. While the race did not pan out as we would have wanted, in track work, Alotta Lute has bounced right back and we are now looking to the Kembla Grange, Tuesday October 7th meeting for him to make amends. Do not let him under your guard as the big boy is showing his trainer, Gerald Ryan, that he has progressed nicely this campaign.

Waiting for his next appearance on the track are his owners: J. Celentane, M. Hayes, R. Richards, Youngberry's Nursery Syndicate (Mgr. G. Youngberry), L. Snedden, W. Stones, H. Price, J. Edgeworth, Rebbeck Johns Syndicate (Mgr. D. Rebbeck) and B. Wells.

Appleholic

Appleholic at the yearling sales

Appleholic raced in the Dynamic Syndications sponsored rating 62 on the Barb Joseph Race day at the reopening of the Canberra course proper. This was her grand final and she ran another honest race. Settling midfield, Appleholic found room at the top of the straight and never shirked the issue in the run to the line to record yet another fourth place. She is as honest as the day is long having weighed in at 10 of her 13 starts and has now earned her comfortable retirement to the breeding barn having been secured by Patinack Farms.

Her fantastic team of owners are: Prime Star Syndicate (Mgr. S. Hetherton), S. Galvin, W. Gill, G. Privett, R. Thompson, S. Harvey, J. Reed and R. Richards.

Named 2yo's

Atreyu -Encosta de Lago x Calaway Gal colt

Pronounced - A TRAY U. This is a very clever name. It's the name of the main character in the Never Ending Story and owning a good racehorse is just like a never ending story. In the story the character Atreyu was the warrior of the grassy planes whose name means the Son of All. Atreyu is currently in the stables of David Payne and is heading towards having a jump out in the next week.

ZULU RYESING - Catcher in the Rye x Zululu colt

This is an excellent combination name of the sire and dam. This colt is sure to have the courage of the warrior leader of the combined Zulu tribes, Shaka Zulu. He is currently under the care of our pre trainer, Gary Nickson before he ventures to the stables of Kevin Moses.

DYNAMIC TRAINERS NEWS

The stable of Dynamic trainers have been on fire in recent weeks.

Kevin Moses

Kevin and Jenny Moses

KEVIN MOSES is a wonderful trainer with an innate ability to know when his horses are going well. From his 25 boxes he is producing many winners.  The fact that he still rides every morning is a huge advantage. On Saturday at Randwick, the master trainer showed exactly why he has so much talent and is one of the true rising stars on the Sydney scene.

Kevin had a winning double when RYNO CHASER won the Dulcify Quality LR and SARA'S CHOICE won the Reginald Allen LR.

Kevin has 21 Dynamic horses on his books and in the coming months watch out for Kevin and the Dynamic colours as his stable is chocka block with Dynamic horses.

Hawkes Family Racing Stable

Michael Hawkes and Corey Brown

Just as the racing world was writing the obituaries for the new Hawkes Family partnership, what do the stable do? Take out the recent Group 1 George Main Stakes with Mentality and the Group 2 Hill Stakes with Fiumicino. As well as now being settled into their new Rosehill set up, it has been reported that the Hawkes Family Stable may be one of the first stables to take advantage of the new training partnership rules introduced here in NSW.

The Hawkes Family Stable has 25 Dynamic horses on their books.

Currently in training or at the races John has for Dynamic Syndications: Grand Cause, Racquet, Confessional, Danzaura, Advantage Receiver, Set the Spinnaker, Savage Blaze, Platamone Castle, Boulevard Baron and Redoute's Choice x Savannah Success.

Currently in pre training: Joe Almighty, Veyron, Cat Burglar and Tomochichi.

Also on the books: Priceless Lad, She's a Rock Star, Ibethecan, Atomic Force, Savvy Choice, Scent of Joy, Rock of Gibraltar x Best Effort, Sharmadal x Jamrah, Niello x Campbell Fever, Rock of Gibraltar x Quays and Hussonet x French Knickers.

David Payne

David Payne

David Payne has been having a very good run with his horses of late. Hurried Choice took out the Group 2 Theo Marks after a first up close 3rd to Typhoon Zed and Raheeb. Stripper was excellent first up, just missing out by a nose from winning the $1 Million Golden Rose. Gallant Tess bust into Epsom contention when beating Triple Honour in the Group 2 Chelmsford Stakes and then following that effort up with an unlucky third behind Mentality in the group 1 George Main Stakes. Emperor Bonaparte just missed on the weekend and will be out to make amends in the Group 1 Spring Champion Stakes this weekend. When a stable is having a run like this, it is best to hang on and enjoy the ride.

Paul Murray

Tye Angland, Paul and Bede Murray

Will Paul Murray join his father, Bede Murray as a group 1 trainer after this weekend? Paul is doing a wonderful job with Takeover Target's half brother, Predatory Pricer. A regular in our stable mail, Predatory Pricer, a son of Street Cry, has improved with racing and as the distances that he is racing, have increased. He will be near enough to favourite this weekend in the group 1 Spring Champion Stakes, so the best of luck to the stable. Paul is the trainer of recent Dynamic winner, Air Raid and is doing an excellent job with the horse.

DYNAMIC BREEDING NEWS

Redoute's Choice

Redoute's Choice

Without the fanfare of previous seasons, Arrowfield's flag ship stallion, Redoute's Choice has reassumed the mantle of the leading Australian sire.

Since the start of the season, Redoute's Choice has had Samantha Miss as his headline horse and she lines up this Saturday in the Group 1 Flight Stakes to try and secure the honoured, Princess series. Time Thief has excelled in his first racing preparation and will be one of the favourites in the Group 1 Caulfield Guineas. Musket, the ? to the mighty mare, Makybe Diva, will be one of the favourites for the Group 1 Epsom Handicap and Red Lord will be the favourite for the Group 1 Metropolitan Handicap.

Other stakes performers are Stalingrad, Allied Force and Viennese.

Upcoming, Dynamic Syndications have the ? sister to Zipping in Redoute's Choice,x Social Scene and we still have just 5% of our Redoute's Choice x Touched by God colt that is in training for the Magic Millions.

CALAWAY GAL

Calaway Gal winning the Golden Slipper

The outbreak of EI last spring resulted in many stallions making a late start to the season including reigning champion sire Encosta de Lago, whose first foals are just starting to arrive including a filly from Golden Slipper winner Calaway Gal.

A permanent resident at Geoff and Jann Harris's Tooloogan Vale, Calaway Gal delivered a lovely chestnut filly on September 4.

She is the fourth foal for Calaway Gal, the fastest female Golden Slipper winner in history and already the dam of a winner in Perth based three year-old Premium, a son of Octagonal.

Dean Watt's Dynamic Syndications purchased a full brother to this filly also by Encosta de Lago (now named Atreyu) at the Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale earlier in the year and the former star mare has a yearling colt by Elusive Quality (USA). (As sourced from Breednet)

Woppitt

Woppitt trialling

Woppitt is a daughter of Campbell Fever who herself is a daughter of the tremendous brood mare sire, Bluebird. Woppitt is trained by Lee Freedman and proved more than competitive in the lead up to last season's Blue Diamond before taking out the SA Stakes at Morphettville by an easy 4 and a half lengths.

Since her resumption she has raced very well in 3yo stakes company before last start taking on the open age sprinters. In a good form reference, Woppitt was placed behind the very smart sprinter, Lucky Secret and Let Loushe, who franked the form by winning a $100K race at Mornington over the weekend.

Currently in pre training with Gary Nickson, we have the half sister to Woppitt. By Niello, from Campbell Fever, this filly was a standout individual at the sales and has impressed everyone that has handled her through her education and training sessions.

Our Niello x Campbell Fever filly will be available for sale shortly.

DYNAMIC SHARES FOR SALE

Commands x Celeste filly

Dynamic Syndications are now down to the final 30% of the Commands x Celeste filly that is currently in work.

The filly was brought back into the stable last Monday, Sept 22nd to commence a session of pre training. This will go for 4 weeks where she will then head to the stable of Kevin Moses to have a look at her future home.

Commands, as a sire, has proven to be quite remarkable. Initially starting at a service fee of around $10K, through industry demand his service fee has grown to be $66K for the current season. The reason that he has been able to do this is because he has the ability to ?uplift' the mares that he has been mated with. Starting from his original service fee, he did not see the quality of mare that he is seeing now. Despite that start, Commands has been able to produce top quality horses with mares that have had nowhere near the pedigree behind them as the dam of our filly, Celeste. This makes our filly a very exciting prospect.

Commands has been the leading BOBS sire in NSW since the BOBS scheme's inception. Our filly is of course, BOBS eligible. She is also entered for the Blue Diamond and Golden Slipper as well as being eligible for the new Inglis Race Series.

Celeste, a daughter of Group 1 winner, Mapperley Heights, comes from an excellent female family. Mapperley Heights is closely related to Market Heights, grand dam of Australian Champion, Weekend Hussler and Anaheim, grand dam of AJC Derby and Caulfield Cup winner, Sky Heights. This all comes about from a mare called Wuthering Heights which features in the pedigree of all of these fantastic horses.

This is the third progeny of Celeste that we have syndicated. The first, Set Up was group 1 placed in the Queensland Derby. The second is Jellylorum. Like our filly, Jellylorum is trained by Kevin Moses and is definite for your black book with what she has showed everyone that has handled her.

http://www.dynamicsyndications.com.au/listings/detail.asp?iNews=468&iType=44

You could argue that the deeds of Weekend Hussler since we brought the Commands x Celeste filly have made her even more valuable. Her potential residual value is excellent.

We have only 30% left of the filly. 10% shares with full owner's entitlements are just $14,990 inc. GST. Reduced Equity Shares of 2.5% and 5% are available.

Al Maher x Frangipani filly

Come and race a filly with Dynamic Syndications that has outstanding racing and excellent broodmare potential, that is currently in training.

From Al Maher, the ? brother to Redoute's Choice, from Frangipani, by Snippets and a half sister to Group 1 producer, Egyptian Ibis.

Through a quirk of the sales system, we were able to secure this filly for nearly half what we were originally going to pay for her. She is closely related to yearlings that have sold through the sales ring for $600K and $2 Million. She is a bargain.

She rates an excellent A+, 945% and is bred on the same cross that has produced, Group 1 winners Magnus and Snitzel and as well as stakes performers, Viennese, Exceedingly Good, Stockade, Wilander and With a Chance.

http://www.dynamicsyndications.com.au/listings/detail.asp?iNews=470&iType=44

A 10% share with full owners privileges is only $11,750 inc GST. Reduced Equity shares of 2.5% and 5% are available.

Dehere x France Soir filly

Dynamic Syndications are currently syndicating a filly, by a Group 1 winner, from a Group 1 winner, who is a half sister to a group 1 winner.

By renowned dual hemisphere sire, Dehere from the Chilean Group 1 winner, France Soir, this filly is currently in training.

Rating an outstanding A++, 1,938%, Q7, this filly is free of Danehill blood.  She an exciting racing prospect and also has the necessary pedigree to be a fantastic match with all of the Danehill stallions that are currently standing in Australia.

To be trained by the Rosehill mentor, David Payne, the filly has given everyone that has handled her the feel of being a precocious 2yo that will be even better over a mile as a 3yo, exactly like her sire and dam.

http://www.dynamicsyndications.com.au/listings/detail.asp?iNews=445&iType=44

A 10% share with full owner's privileges is only $19,100 inc GST. Reduced Equity Shares of 2.5% and 5% are also available.

DYNAMIC TRIVIA

Winner of the last trivia was Daniel Forsyth of Frankston, Victoria. Daniel correctly answered that the great grand dam of our Zabeel x Dane Shakira colt and the grand dam of champion European older horse, Kalanisi is KAREENA.

A prize pack will be in the mail to Daniel shortly.

To win this month's prize pack, please answer the following question.

What is the name of the Hawkes Family Stables recent Group 1, George Main Stakes winner?

Please reply back with the answer to matt@dynamicsyndications.com.au
