Dynamic Syndications January Newsletter

Welcome to the 1st Dynamic Syndications Newsletter for 2009. All of us in the office hope that this finds you safe and well after the Christmas / New Year break. The start of the New Year had us scratching our heads about what we had done to upset the racing gods with our runners not having much luck at all. The prayers have been answered in the last week or so with winners finding the line nicely, especially with some youngsters that have very bright futures. The upcoming carnival has us setting some of our horses for the nice races that are available, so once again, this newsletter will have plenty for your black book. Dynamic Syndications attended the sales on the Gold Coast and came away with 4 excellent lots which have all ready been sold out. Keep reading to find out the story about each lot. Upcoming we will be attending the Inglis Classic Sale so keep tuned into the website for the days buying activities.

MAGIC MILLIONS CARNIVAL

In a day enjoyed by many clients who made the trip up for the Magic Millions, Dynamic Syndications had 2 runners for two thirds. So close.

Causeyacan

In the 1800m Stayers Cup worth $250k, Causeyacan was once again on the receiving end of severe interference. After a solid start, Causeyacan was travelling well but at the 1600m was severely hampered and nearly fell. Picking himself back up, the horse was not giving the jockey the winning feel as he had been before the incident. In barging his way through the pack to eventually come third, was an excellent effort. The horse showed  his determination and class. This was the second time in 3 runs that the horse had been severely interfered with and both times he did not chuck in the towel. The horse is enjoying a well earned rest and will be back in work shortly to target some races at possibly the upcoming Sydney, Gold Coast and Brisbane carnivals.

Owners: John Allen, Ernest Borghella, Julianne Earngey, Anne Edwards, Gary Low, Andrew Roebuck, Fabian Welk, Whitby Bloodstock Pty Ltd, Leo Tenace and Michael Damaschino.

Dictatorship

A nice horse in the making, Dictatorship started in the blinkers for the first time in the MM Maiden over 1200m. A leggy son of Commands, Dictatorship is still 6 months away, but has run some very promising races for Dynamic and his owners. Settling closer to the lead than anticipated in the Maiden, Dictatorship had used up a bit too much petrol to take a prominent position and while looking the winner with 100m to go, he just ran out of gas to finish 3rd and earn his owners a nice cheque. Dictatorship is having a well earned rest and we are looking forward to him earning a couple of pictures for the walls of his owners during his next preparation.

Owners: John Allen, Barry Bennett, John Falconer, Frank Murphy, Len Sheridan, Lance Snedden, Helen Price, Jason Rea, Chris Peacock, Paul Maher, Wayne Gage and Stephen Fitzpatrick.

DYNAMIC PERFORMERS

REWARD FOR EFFORT

Reward for Effort at the Melbourne Premier Sales

WON the Arrowfield Stud Blue Diamond Preview LR 1000m. What a debut run!! This son of Exceed and Excel has always shown ability to all that have handled him. When being set for the early Spring 2yo races in Melbourne he wasn't quite mature enough. After a terrific spell he came back into work and has pleased all along. Winning a Cranbourne trial in the quickest time of the morning, Reward for Effort went under the radar from a lot of media and trial watchers because he was given a couple of educational slaps to teach him what racing was all about.  Coming into the race, the colt had improved. It was like the light switch had been turned on in his head after the trial and everything was falling into place. Still, despite being very happy with the colt, he was being thrown into the deep end against the best performed colts in Victoria, racing in the Blue Diamond Preview. It was a case of fingers crossed. Having secured the services of the Blue Diamond king, Dwayne Dunn, the colt jumped well and was able to take a sit in the run to the corner. He cornered like a drunken sailor, but when Dwayne was able to balance him up and give him a slap with the persuader, the result was in no doubt and the colt extended to win by over a length from the well backed favourite, Rarefied. The colt ran the race in .09s outside the race record and only .9s outside the track record. Just as importantly, he ran 0.22s quicker than the highly spruiked fillies preview winner, Rostova. While we will have to give her a couple of kilos come Blue Diamond day, this colt will have taken so much improvement out his run on Monday, that she will need every bit of it.

Congratulations to the owners: Dean Shannon, George Rassos, Darryn Fraad, Jack Keeley, Consular Racing P/L (Mgr: W.W. Mumford), E.M. McNulty and M.E. McClen.

FASHION STATEMENT

The Hoover, as she is affectionately known around the stable for her propensity for eating anything in sight, won her first race for connections at the recent Warwick Farm mid week meeting. Her debut run at Wyong was more than acceptable and then she went to Kembla Grange and ran into 2nd spot in a most encouraging performance. Her next start was eagerly anticipated at Kembla Grange, but the filly was a late scratching as she had found something to chew on the way to the track and cut her mouth. The programming from then did not suit so we were forced to run her in Saturday grade fillies at Rosehill. She acquitted herself very well after 3 or 4 weeks between runs, running only 2.7 lengths behind the very nice filly, Anatomica. Chris Munce got off her and gave the assembled mob a nice post race review, suggesting that back to maiden class and she would be very competitive. Well, here we were in a 1300m fillies event at Warwick Farm, and connections hopes had been deflated a little as we had drawn the car park in a capacity field of 16. While often scratching a horse from out there would be a consideration, there is a very long run to the first turn from this start at Warwick Farm and we had a chat with the racing gods to give us just a little luck. Jockey Jamie Quinell, had her jump and settle where she was happy and slowly worked her over to sit at the girth of the leader. Coming around the corner, the filly looked to be under hard riding, but it was the jockey basically instructing her on what to do as she is still a bit green and learning about the caper. She levelled up to the leader / favourite and then put paid to her to go away and win by a length. Third was two lengths further back. The win was in class record time and the $17,550 first prize plus $10K BOBS bonus gave the owners another reason to smile.

Congratulations: Sharon and Steve McCrea, Bill Vlahos, Dean Shannon, Adam Kustron, Peter Blake, Maria Jokich, Lindsay Allen, Bish Racing Syndicate and John and Mary Syndicate.

ROYAL SINGER

If you can't have a Group 1 horse, a mare like Royal Singer is certainly welcome in the stable. She puts in every run and you know that there is nothing left out on the race track. After racing in the city for a couple of placings, the mare was entered into the time honoured, Cowra Cup. Travelling perfectly in the run, jockey Matthew Cahill, who has won the race an amazing 6 times, had her travelling sweetly and produced her at the top of the straight. This was the end of the race as she went to the line sweetly to win by a length, smashing the track record in the process. The star of their Cowra Cup day, Royal Singer was the back page feature of the next day edition of the Cowra Guardian with owner John Edwards quoted extensively in the article. The mare has won nearly $120,000 for her owners in her 5 wins from 27 starts.

Congratulations: R.B. Edwards, J. Edwards, R. Sullivan, J. Hayes, P. Moxham, J. Paloscia, B. Taylor, G. Farley, A. Antons and Murray River Syndicate (Mgr: S. Hetherton)

VIGNERON

Resuming for the Baroness of Bombala, Barb Joseph, Vigneron lined up in barrier 1 in the Ratings 67 event at Wagga Wagga. Expertly ridden by apprentice, Taylor Lovelock - Wiggins, the hyphen had Vigneron travelling just off the pace on the fence. Entering the straight, the hyphen got the split and drove Vigneron to the lead. Holding on for dear life, Vigneron even had to contend with someone standing near your correspondent at Randwick calling Vigneron ?HOME'. Despite this, Vigneron had a short half head margin on the line in a win that had a bit of guts and determination about it. Barb and our office will pick the eyes out of the racing calendar to find the next event for this galloper that now has a record of 17 starts, 3 wins, 5 seconds and 1 third for nearly $40k of prize money.

Congratulations: Fabian Welk, Bill Vlahos, Karl Arnold, Leo Tenace, Michael Damaschino, Tony Rizos, Paul Maher, Mark Chiverton and Robins Solah Leggett Syndicate (Mgr. L Robins)

HANDSOME STASH

This horse just gives you an honest effort every time he goes around. Resuming, he ran 4th to the spruik provincial horse, Luigi the Brave, beaten only 0.7 of a length. Next up he ventured to  Wyong over 1350m and was beaten by only 0.5 of a length behind Sirwinni, with a space back to third. The writing was on the wall. Scratched from the Warwick Farm mid week meeting to be saved for 1600m Class 1 at Kembla Grange, in refreshing 41 degree heat, jockey Shane Moses gave an excellent performance on the son of Secret Savings and he never looked like being beaten in the run. Sitting at the girth of the leader in the run, Handsome Stash and his 58kg's had the leader beaten at the 200m mark. It was here that Shane gave him some rein and he extended to put a length and a half on the rest of the field. Cuddled over the last 50m, Handsome Stash made it a one horse affair. Now that he is up to his best distance range of 1600m to 1800m, you just now that Handsome Stash will put himself into the picture in any race that he contests and the rest of the field will have to get around him if they were to look the winner at any stage. He has now had 11 starts for 2 wins, 3 seconds, 2 thirds and nearly $40k in prize money.

Congratulations: David Armit, Ben Callen, Chris Clark, Alan McBride, Bruce McKendry, Olive Oyston, George Rassos, Two Mates Hoping Syndicate and Dennis Walker.

SARKOSY

3 wins from 7 starts, an excellent start to the racing career of this son of French Deputy in only his 2nd preparation. Just after New Year, Sarkosy lined up in a class 2 over 1200m at Wyong. Ridden very well by Glynn Schofield, Sarkosy landed in a good position and kept that to the turn. Patience was the key to the ride as a split did not eventuate straight away, but once Glynn had gained it, he put paid to the field very quickly. The horse ran the course in the excellent time of 1:09:79. With nothing suitable around on the racing calendar (we would have loved a nmw over 1200m SOMEWHERE), we had to bring the gelding back to 1100m at Randwick on Australia Day. Drawing wide, the plan was to go back and then have the last crack at them. Our plans were then scuttled further with rain falling on the track making it a very slippery surface. Sarkosy had not handled a wet surface at Wyong earlier in his career so we were not sure what to expect. He ran well coming in 5th passing a lot of horses in the straight. When this horse gets a smidgin of luck in the city, he has the talent to win more than a race or two.

Congratulations: Gerard Coutts, Wayne Dewberry, Stephen Duggan, Kerry Hiley, Peter Nash, Lawrence Nixon, SAJLIP Syndicate (Mgr: Stephen Allie), Second Up Racing (Mgr: Doug Guthrie) and Dynamic 3 Racing Syndicate.

WE'RE LUCKY

NO SHE'S NOT. The owners of this lovely filly have thought about a change of name to We're bloody Unlucky. She should have won her 2nd ever race start and then was a little unlucky again in the Wyong Millions 3yo prelude. Excited owners attended Randwick on New Year's day and after 200m of the race, they knew they were in for an ahh, bugger race again. Quite simply, she could not get in anywhere and was posted 4 wide the entire trip. The winner looks to have a nice future, but given even racing luck, we could have been right in the picture. The most important thing to come from this run is that we know she is not a shirker. She should have finished at the tail of the field, but instead she had the temerity to run the trip right out, still passing horses on the post. She will be given a nice spell and remember her through the winter months here in Sydney. We have a nice filly on our hands.

Owners: David Hornhardt, Toni Berkin, Steve Edwards, Tim Waters, Graham King, Graham Rommel, Quintao Corbett Johnstone Syndicate, Dynamic Fab 4, Fab 4 Me Too and Fab 4 Ringo Starr Syndicate.

TOMOCHICHI

A striking black son of Danzero, Tomo has shown us more than enough to suggest that he has a bright future ahead. Still looking physically 6 - 12 months away, Tomo won a barrier trial and then put in two very satisfactory race day starts. His first at Wyong had him come in fourth and his second had him come in 5th. This boy is still learning what to do and once his body catches up, we are going to have an excellent race day performer.

Owners: Dino Brescacin, Brett Dale, Cameron Dunn, Bruce McKendry, George Moore, Darren O'Connel, Alan Yau, Ray Robinson and Dynamic Tomo Syndicate.

JELLYLORUM

After her tough win at Canterbury Park, Jellylorum was saddled up again at Rosehill on the Saturday after Christmas over 1500m. Unfortunately the aim of earning more prize money to make it easier when it comes to gaining a place in the better races of the Autumn carnival, did not eventuate. Post race review showed the filly to be in season, a condition she had never showed any signs of previously. The filly is having a rest in the paddock and will be brought back into work for a crack at the better staying fillies races at the Sydney and Brisbane carnivals.

Owners: Dean Shannon, Charlie Deeb, Myles Henke, Bill Vlahos, George Rassos, Gary Hodsdon and Frank Kazzi.

BILLINA

Resuming at the races at Wyong over 1000m, the filly had trialled well, but we knew the filly was in need of the run. She jumped well and settled midfield. Rounding the turn, the winner ran away to win by 5 lengths, but the filly stuck to her guns and hit the line okay. It was an extremely hot day and the filly certainly felt the effects of the day at the track. The run had, ?get me race fit and get me to 1200m' all over it and when she does, she is a definite for your black book.

Owners: Noel and Tri Loader, Derek Taylor, James Keane, John and Mary Syndicate, Michelle Hill, Dynamic Fab 4, Fab 4 Me Too and Fab 4 Ringo Starr Syndicate.

SHE'S A ROCK STAR

Having her first start in the race that was eventually won by our Fashion Statement, we were quite confident of a good showing from this daughter of Rock of Gibraltar. Settling midfield she held her position comfortably and then passed a few runners in the straight to finish 6th. It was a lovely run and one that has us aiming her at the 1600m races that she is bred to run. As she gets fitter and gets even more race smarts about her, she will be winning races for her owners.

Owners: Dean Shannon, John Celentane, Laraine Stockman, Grazyna Veigli, Dennis Shepherd, Bill Vlahos, Dean Webb, John and Mary Syndicate.

ADVANTAGE RECEIVER

Now here is a girl with ability. This daughter of Giants Causeway and the Oakleigh Plate winner, Miss Kournikova, the filly started her racing career on the Kensington track over the New Year. The filly was a muck lather going to the start and took forever to load in to the stalls. This prerace experience meant that she had expended too much energy and she finished midfield. On the training track, this filly has shown that she is many lengths better than watch she showed that day, so stick with her.

Owners: Dean Shannon, Bill Vlahos, Myles Henke, Peter Nash, John and Mary Syndicate, Vital Syndicate.

JOE ALMIGHTY

Two starts of promise and one to watch out for. Joe's second start was at Kembla Grange and with the blinkers off, once again he settled near the front of the field. Jockey Patrick Ferris produced him at the top of the straight and Joe stuck to his guns to hold on for third and record his first placing. With still more maturity to come for the horse, we are spacing Joes runs this campaign but watch out for him around the provincials as he will be very hard to beat.

Owners: Dean Shannon, Wayne Wilson, Bill Vlahos, Alan Philip, Shane Joyce, John and Mary Syndicate, Hozovich Syndicate, Helen Price and Aliecia Freeman.

IBETHECAN

Lining up for his first career start in a maiden over 1200m at Newcastle, this son of Flying Spur put in an below par effort. This was especially so after what he had showed on the training track. While it is back to the drawing board with the horse, he has shown enough on the training track to be one to look out for at subsequent starts.

Owners: Dean Shannon, Myles Henke, David Henderson, George Coleman, Peter Nash and the DS Ibethecan Syndicate.

ROCKARADA

This son of Rock of Gibraltar had his first start at Geelong on January 2nd. Looking for more than 1200m, he found the distance too short. A lot more work is being now put into the horse to have him fitter and once we get up 1600m, he is one to watch.

Owners: Dean Shannon, Nicholas Lam, Rob Youlden, Peter Nash, Myles Henke, Barry Foss, Philip Harris, Alan Yau, Darren Fawthorp, Col. Keith Ford.

TENANT'S TIARA

What a rotten time she had of it over the early summer racing. Between no luck and then going off the boil, this filly did not show us what we know that she can over that time. She has had a freshen up and has come back into training last week. There are plenty of races on the agenda over the carnival that we can aim her at. Look out for in any black type sprinting race over the coming months.

Owners: Mitchell Gibson, Dave Gremmo, Dave Martyn, William Hunter, Cheryl Leach, Stewart Philpott, Dene Sykes, Tifineo Syndicate, Lord Howe Island Syndicate and Jigsaw No. 2 Syndicate.

CAT BURGLAR

After having a long time off, this mare by Tale of the Cat needed the run first up and got too far back on the Kensington circuit. We are now looking for a suitable race to help her race fitness along and return to the form that had her produce a 1st and 2nd in town for her owners.

Owners: Alan Bradley, Rod Brown, Chris Ilias, Ben Koch, Fabian Welk, Ryan Severn and Rob Severn.

SUPERIOR INSTINCT

This son of Delago Brom resumed in a most honest fashion on the Kensington circuit. In the New Year he followed this up by running second on the course proper. The horse that won had to run a track record to beat Superior. Jumping well, Superior Instinct had the gun run just in behind the leader. Rounding the corner he found a split at the rise and went out after the leader. He got the leader, but then out wide, he was collared. A terrific effort. With us wanting to go around again in the city there was very little on the racing calendar so he was next produced in a class two at Hawkesbury. Jockey Jamie Quinell had handled the gelding well at his previous two starts, but even race course commentator, Richie Callendar mentioned that the ride would not be seen in the dvd highlights of Jamie's career so far. When next a suitable race is found, forgive his last run and he is a winning hope.

Owners: Ron Krog, Laraine Stockman, Tony Panto, Michael Panto, Craig Wann, Superior Instinct, Grant Cadger, Gill Carroll and Michael Choueifate.

PLAN OF ATTACK

After twisting a plate at a Canterbury night meeting, Plan of Attack needed a few weeks off to have an easy time and recover. A mare that needs a run or two to be fully wound up she then raced at Kembla Grange over 1200m and finished midfield in a good fitness run. A mare that loves 1400m, she is now trouble free and will be around the winners circle in her next few assignments at that 1400m mark.

Owners: Bish Racing Syndicate, Stephen McRea, John Campbell, Matthew Davison, Steven Frare, Don Jones, Peter Lakeman, John Vella and Bill Vlahos.

RELATED SECRETS

Taken to the stables of Barb Joseph, Related Secrets has thrived under the care and attention of Baroness Bombala. Since being with Barb, we have let Related Secrets run freely over distances up to 1200m, rather than racing her at above this distance. She has put in some very honest efforts, running in the placings and will be hard to beat at future short course assignments.

Owners: Tony Rivans, Ross Lawson, Peter Laws, Chris Ilias, Eva Miller, Aaron Morris, John Celentane, Swingras Mooconjo Syndicate.

TIGER PRAWN

Please give us a dead track. Tiger Prawn's 2 wins have come on dead tracks and his best run this campaign has been on a heavy track. Keep a watch out for him when he gets on affected ground as this horse is working well.

Owners: E equals MC2 Syndicate, Steve Nadja, John Celentane, Ross Walker, Barry Innes, Peter McGuire.

MAGNIFICATION

The future Cox Plate winner, as one of her owners, JB, calls her, rewarded the patience of JB and her other owners with her first career start at Gosford last week. And what a first start it was. A four year old mare by Choisir, her owners have stuck by her and she produced a run that suggested that a win is not far around the corner. Jumping well, she settled on the fence just behind the speed and stayed there until the straight. The jockey tried to get her out from behind the leader, but under pressure and her fitness levels showing, she was hanging in. Still fighting to the line, she was only pipped for third by a half head. She showed a lot of ticker in the run and with this experience under her belt, a win is not far way with any sort of luck. Straight after her run, the Moses stable reported back, she had a blow, then she had another blow, then she had more of a blow until she finally finished blowing.

Owwners: Patricia Leeper, Arthur Anton, Ted Granville, Greg Conroy, Dennis Shepherd, Brett O'Brien, John Batori, and Wayne Angelou.

GRAND CAUSE

After showing so much promise in his first couple of return runs after a very long spell, Grand Cause then did not go ahead with things this campaign. A decision was made to transfer the son of Giant's Causeway to the rural like environment offered by Darren Smith. Darren has his own property and access to beaches in the Newcastle area and this change of locale should enable Grand Cause to find his best form. This campaign he has run fourth behind the winner, Wasted Emotions, by a length with a little horse called Something Anything splitting the pair. Keep an eye out for him.

Owners: Fabian Welk, Harry and Wynne Stolzenbach, Matthew McWhinney, Mick Malone, Neil Gibbons, Phil Dugan, Greg Brown, Bullseye Syndicate, Causyacan Syndicate, Dynamic 1 Racing Syndicate.

EXCELLENT POINT

After winning a trial, Excellent Point showed blistering speed to lead up the pack and still lead with 100m to go, providing a very promising start to his racing career for his many excited owners. Lining up in the Inglis Classic worth $250K, the colt easily sped to the front and looked a winning chance with 150m to go. Unfortunately, he only had petrol tickets until then and he was over taken. Returning to scale, jockey Danny Nikolic gave a glowing report of the feel that he gave under saddle and the speed he so easily showed. He has now gone to the paddock for a well earned rest and is one to follow when he resumes after this spell.

Owners: Linda Berka, Justin Ward, Pablo Bonilla, Peter Green, Philip Rousell, Cheryl Henke, Brad and Scott Syndicate, Joe Vodopovic, Boyd Brothers and Dynamic Syndications Excellent Point Syndicate.

SOLID EFFORT

Heading into the great unknown that is the first start of a racing career, this son of Rock of Gibraltar had that query hanging over him. If he brings his A game, he wins. Unfortunately he didn't. Ever since he was educated, this boy has shown above average ability. As he got closer to the races, his behaviour around the stables was not up to scratch. Despite our efforts to keep him intact, he will resume in about a month, 2 stone lighter. We know we have got a horse of promise in this boy and he is one to watch for upon resuming.

Owners: Tom Bailey, Dennis Mathews, George Christofis, Heather Farley, Charlene Gittany, George MacDonald, Brian Parker, John and Mary Syndicate, Jaime Rockes.

MAGIC MILLIONS YEARLINGS

After picking the eyes out of the catalogue, Dynamic Syndications came away from this year's Gold Coast Magic Millions sale with a lovely catalogue of 4 colts and fillies. With a stated aim of trying to win next years MM 2yo race, we secured lots by Flying Spur, Stratum, Bradbury's Luck and the regally bred, Break the Vault. Each of the yearlings is currently spelling at Oakridge and they will be taken to the educators in early March. They are all sold out and read below about the MM purchases.

FLYING SPUR x BOUCHETTE filly

Bred on that lovely cross that produces runner after runner, the Danehill over Bletchingly mares cross, this filly has been the modicum of a pedigree upgrade since we brought her. She is a ? relation in blood to the winner of the Magic Millions Sprint, Keen Commander.

We welcome her owners: Kath Hornhardt, Chris Head, Ian Frykberg, Peter Janovsky, Anne Edwards, Steve Duggan, John and Mary Syndicate, Cindy Chiverton and Craig Keene.

STRATUM x GREAT CHIC filly

Built like a bloke, this filly is another example of timing is everything. Since she was brought for $55K out of the ring, her ? sister, Choice Dancer (by Danehill Dancer and cost $220K out of the ring) scored an emphatic 5 1/4 length win at Turffontein after being placed at its first 2 starts. When this is added to the fact that her dam is a half sister to the world champion Choisir, making this filly a ? relation in blood, she was an attractive offering that sold in a matter of days.

We welcome her owners: Alan Bradley, Ross Daisley, Tim Waters, Martin Holland, Fabian Welk, Sam Maxwell, John and Mary Syndicate, Kevin Fly, Mick O'Toole and Darren Perry.

BREAK THE VAULT x SLY SMILE colt

Break the Vault is the half brother to Zabeel by Redoute's Choice. This makes this colt the ? brother to Listed Canonbury Stakes and Inglis Classic winner and one time Golden Slipper favourite, Danehill Smile.

We welcome his owners:Joe Vodopovic, Alan Bradley, Steve Calafatis, Brendan Sonter, Paul Harbord, Brad and Scott Syndicate, Alan Yau, Glen Smith, Graham Breingan and Jackie Gadge.

BRADBURY's LUCK x BRYNICA colt

Bred on that fabulous Danehill over Snippets mares cross, this was the highest pedigree rating son of Bradbury's Luck. Dean Watt of course originally syndicated Bradbury's Luck and on type and pedigree, believes he has got his best son at the sale.

We welcome his owners: Charlie Deeb, Dakotah Racing, Michael Crismale, Craig Wann, Fabian Welk, Maureen Hollis, Gary Hodsdon

DYNAMIC SALES UPDATE

With our decision to bypass the New Zealand Karaka sales this year, Dynamic Syndications will be next attending the Inglis Classic Sale on February 8th, 9th and 10th. If you are there, come up and say g'day, otherwise stayed tuned for the daily website updates about the sales news and Dynamic purchases.

DYNAMIC TRAINERS NEWS

Peter Moody

Peter unleashed two potential stars from his stable at the Caulfield Australia day meeting. One was of course our Reward for Effort. The other and she was mentioned in the previous newsletter, was Typhoon Tracey. Jumping well and taken straight to the front by Glen Boss, TT beat the field home as she liked and put the writing on the wall for future performances.

Kevin Moses

No Wine No Song is well and truly on the comeback trail with him due to resume shortly. Coming back from injury, everything this prep is being solely aimed around the Sydney Cup. He will be short of fitness early on, but watch out for him as the distances get to 2000m+.

Hawkes Family Racing

With Mentality due to resume shortly and our Atomic Force waiting in the wings, the Hawkes family stable will soon have their names in lights again. Our Atomic Force is well and truly on the comeback trail. If you saw the most unlucky run of the day at Caulfield on Australia Day, that of Fravashi in the Zedative Stakes, then Atomic Force, should be right in the firing line of the better 3yo races over the Autumn. Atomic Force debuted 2nd behind Fravashi.

David Payne

David Payne produces some of his Autumn hopefuls this Thursday night with Hurried Choice and the Carrington Stakes winner, Hairy. Recently his Epsom Handicap place getter, Gallant Tess, trialled beautifully and she is always one to follow, especially fresh in her preparation.

Mick Price

With Mick Price having provided the Patinack Farm operation with a recent winner in Pricked, he is sure to be in the good books. And then with the return to form of Light Fantastic, things are looking bright for the stable over the Autumn.

Barb Joseph

The Baroness of Bombala has just got her horses running so well at the minute. In recent times for Dynamic we have had wins with Vigneron, Royal Singer was part of a treble on Cowra Cup day and Related Secrets just keeps putting in under her care and performing credibly. Keep an eye on Barb's runners at the tracks around Canberra in the near future.

DYNAMIC BREEDING NEWS

To keep in touch with what the brothers and sisters of the Dynamic horses are doing on the tracks around Australia, I use a black book system that you can access through the Breednet section of the Racenet web site.

The following are fillies, mares, colts and geldings that are all performing around the country that are closely related to our Dynamic horses.

Mulalee - Mujahid x Zambalee - half to our We're Lucky (Lucky Owners) and races around the Northern Rivers area of NSW. Gets back and flys.

Arlington - Red Ransom x Savannah Success - Group 1 placed and a half to our Savabeel and Triumphant Choice.

Zavana - Zabeel x Savannah Success - full sister to the above and recent good winner at Betfair Park.

Memorise - Zabeel x About Town - half to our Boulevard Baron (unraced Savabeel 2yo). Memorise is a part of the strong Williams / Sadler team and raced well in some nice races last Spring.

Premium - Octagonal x Calaway Gal - half to our Atreyu (Encosta de Lago). Races in Perth and showed promise with a win as a late 2yo.

Prospect - Mujahid x Pitch - Half to our soon to be raced Itchy Tiger (Hold that Tiger) and loves the 1500m at MV.

Miss Love - Fastnet Rock x Misty Dawn - half to our Steamy (Fusaichi Pegasus) and ran home well in the Inglis Classic on Australia Day.

Parkour - Lonhro x Coat - Half to Pillar of Hercules (Rock of Gibraltar) and also out of the Moody yard has shown a lot of ability and has always had a spruik on him.

Cut and Run - Dash for Cash x Flying Visit - half to our Air Raid. Trained out of the Noonan yard, she was a half head away from breaking her maiden at her second start and looks to resume shortly.

MISS PROSPECT

Reward for Effort at the Melbourne Premier Sale

Miss Prospect, a daughter of the now deceased Rory's Jester, was the winner of 6 races, four at 2yo, and 3 of her 6 wins were at Listed level. A proven race track performer, in the breeding barn she has proven just as adept with her having had 8 foals to the races for 8 winners. Her very first foal, by Royal Academy, was the Queensland iron horse, Consular. He started an amazing 80+ times for 16 wins and over $1M in prize money. He was a listed winner and runner up in a Stradbroke Handicap. She also produced the 5 time winner and group 3 placed Annie La Vie, by Flying Spur.  Baha, a filly by Snippets was undefeated in a 4 start career, cut short by injury. Her other 4 foals have all been winners of a minimum of 3 times in their careers. The only foal to the races that is not a multiple winner, is our REWARD FOR EFFORT. That is a bit hard when he has had only 1 start and he won the Listed Blue Diamond Preview for colts and geldings. Miss Prospect has unfortunately passed away with Reward for Effort her last foal. With four of her progeny fillies, it may pay to watch out for Miss Prospect in the tail female line of upcoming sales entries.

DYNAMIC TRIVIA

Last months winner of the Dynamic Trivia was Travis Davies who answered correctly that Milanova was the $5 Million mare at Coolmore Stud.

While we are waiting for a shipment of Dynamic merchandise, we will not have Dynamic trivia this month, but it will be back in the next issue.

Thank you for taking the time out to read this issue of the Dynamic Monthly Newsletter. If you have any questions or would like to place an order for the upcoming sales, just let me know.

Kind regards,
